By adding Kage (影) to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Kage. These terms apply to all users, including server administrators and individual members.
Kage is operated by Kage Crafts, an independent developer project. Questions can be directed to hello@kagemtg.com.
Kage is an AI-powered Discord bot that provides Magic: The Gathering assistance including rules lookups, card search, deck advice, and general MTG strategy. Kage's AI responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude model and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
AI responses may contain errors. For official rulings, always refer to the official Magic: The Gathering Comprehensive Rules at magic.wizards.com/en/rules or consult a certified judge.
Kage Crafts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Wizards of the Coast LLC or Hasbro, Inc.
Magic: The Gathering, the mana symbols, card names, card artwork, set names, and all related intellectual property are trademarks and/or copyrights of Wizards of the Coast LLC, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. All rights reserved by their respective owners.
Kage is a fan-made tool created in the spirit of Wizards of the Coast's Fan Content Policy. Kage does not charge for access to Magic: The Gathering card data. Any subscription fees charged by Kage are solely for access to the AI assistant service and platform infrastructure. Card data is sourced from the Scryfall API, used in accordance with Scryfall's terms of service.
You agree not to use Kage to:
We reserve the right to remove Kage from any server or revoke access to any user who violates these terms, without prior notice.
Kage offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed per server per month. Paid plans unlock additional features as described on our pricing page.
New servers receive a 14-day free trial of Kage's Standard plan features. No payment information is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, the server is automatically moved to the Free plan unless a subscription is purchased.
Kage is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use Kage's responses as a helpful starting point, not as a definitive source of rules or strategy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kage Crafts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use Kage, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Kage at any time. We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in our support Discord server. Continued use of Kage after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Uruguay.
